BUCKS COUNTY – Sen. Frank Farry (R-6) joined Gov. Josh Shapiro, local officials and leadership from URBN at their headquarters at the Philadelphia Navy Yard today to announce the company will establish a new distribution center for its rental apparel brand Nuuly in Bucks County. The project will bring hundreds of jobs and significant economic investment to the region while ensuring the company’s continued growth remains in Pennsylvania.

Throughout the last year, Farry worked extensively with company leadership, economic development partners and legislative colleagues to support URBN’s expansion efforts, which included consideration of a location in the 6th Senatorial district. Although that location was not chosen, the company still chose to invest in Bucks County, which will create additional job opportunities for residents of Bucks County and the surrounding region.

“In addition to the important legislative work I do in Harrisburg, another focus is working with business industry leaders in trying to bring success to our region,” said Farry. “This is just another example, and I am proud to have worked with URBN as the creation of approximately 600 new jobs, along with the economic activity generated by this facility, will provide meaningful opportunities for residents throughout Bucks County and neighboring communities. I am grateful that URBN chose to invest here and look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on our local economy for years to come.”

“Although I was unable to attend today’s announcement, I share Sen. Farry’s enthusiasm for this significant investment in Bucks County,” said Rep. Joe Hogan (R-142). “The Nuuly distribution center represents a major commitment to our region and will create valuable employment opportunities for local families while strengthening Bucks County’s position as an attractive destination for business growth and economic development.”

The new Nuuly distribution center represents another significant economic development success for Bucks County and underscores Pennsylvania’s commitment to supporting business expansion, private-sector investment and family-sustaining job creation.
