It was honor to join Bensalem AME Church on Sunday as they celebrated 208 years of faith and service, while also honoring the retirement of Reverend Lugenure M. Jones` retirement after 19 years as their Pastor.
Reverend Jones became the church`s 100th pastor in 2007, and her years of service have left a lasting impact on the church and the surrounding community. I was happy to present her with a Senate certificate recognizing this milestone.
Thank you Reverend Jones for your service and best wishes on your retirement.
Happy to stop by Penndel Borough 250th Anniversary celebration this past Saturday. @repjoehogan and I had a legislative table set up with information and state resources and it was great to connect with constituents and celebrate this special milestone with the community.

PA State Rep. Kristin Marcell, PA State Rep. Joe Hogan, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick and I joined the Sigafoos family on Friday, also National POW/MIA day, for a ceremony honoring U.S. Air Force Capt. Walter H. Sigafoos III and naming a portion of Second Street Pike in his memory.
On April 25, 1971, Captain Sigafoos disappeared after the F-4 Phantom he was serving aboard crashed in Laos near the Ho Chi Minh Trail. According to officials, Captain Sigafoos remains the only Bucks County service member still listed as missing in action from the Vietnam War.
Renaming this road in honor of Captain Sigafoos will ensure his legacy of sacrifice and service are woven into the daily lives of the community he called home, making sure his story is never forgotten.
Hundreds of local seniors joined us on Thursday for our annual Senior Expo. It was great to see so many familiar faces—and some new faces too.
Thank you to all the vendors that joined us, helping make the event a success by sharing valuable resources and information with our attendees.

It was great to join Warminster Food Bank and community members to help pack groceries for Help Bag Hunger Day at ShopRite of Warminster last week.
It was a true community effort and every donation accepted and every bag packed directly supports local feeding initiatives, including the vital work of the Warminster Food Bank, making a tangible difference for our neighbors facing food insecurity.
It was great to join the DART Committee and @buckscotransport yesterday to celebrate the DART`s 25th anniversary and grand opening of their new DART East-Warminster line.
I was proud to present a citation to the DART for their anniversary and a check to Bucks County Transport for $550,000 in state funding from the Senate of PA that I helped secure to support the expansion of their Warminster line and continuation of their Warrington line.
Bucks County Transport said: “Bucks County Transport sincerely appreciates Senator Frank Farry’s leadership and support in securing funding for the new Warminster DART East service. His efforts helped make this important service expansion possible, providing residents with greater access to employment, healthcare, shopping, and other essential destinations. We thank Senator Farry for his continued commitment to public transportation and the communities we serve.”

Today we held a dedication ceremony on Brownsville Rd. in Lower Southampton and Bensalem townships to unveil pedestrian safety improvements in memory of Isabella Shinn, who was tragically killed walking home from work at Bruster`s Ice Cream almost four years ago.
After her passing, the Shinn family advocated for safety improvements to honor Isabella`s memory and to ensure the road was safer for all pedestrians. @reptomlinson, @repjoehogan, and I were able to secure the funding for this project and worked with PennDOT and @bensalempa and Lower Southampton Township for several years to make this happen.
It was a bittersweet day to finally see this come to fruition and provide some peace for the Shinn family. In memory of Isabella, please slow down and drive safely.
