Please disregard the earlier traffic update email. PennDOT just announced Bristol Oxford Valley Road will not be closed or detoured for pipe replacement. The following travel restrictions are still in place. PA Turnpike Bridge Repair to Close Northbound Old Lincoln Highway Weeknights in Bensalem TownshipPennDOT announced that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will perform weeknight bridge repair on northbound Old Lincoln Highway in Bensalem Township, Bucks County. Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
During the closure, drivers traveling westbound Route 132 (Street Road) will be directed to use Richlieu Road and Rockhill Drive. Drivers using northbound Old Lincoln Highway will be directed to use Route 132 (Street Road), Rockhill Drive, and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway). Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour routes because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. Line Striping Planned at Night Next Week on U.S. 1 at Interstate 295 in Bucks CountyPennDOT announced that line striping will begin at night next week on U.S. 1 below I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County, under a $56.1 million project to perform high-priority repairs on interstate bridges, to maintain the functionality, safety, and mobility of the structures along critical corridors. Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. Under this contract, PennDOT’s contractor will make repairs to the deteriorated bridge decks, superstructure components, and portions of the substructures as needed. |
