Bridge Repair, Roadway Construction Planned Next Week on Interstate 295, U.S. 1

PennDOT announced that bridge repair and roadway construction will occur next week on I-295 and U.S. 1 in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Monday, December 16, through Thursday, December 19, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound and westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.
Monday, December 16, through Thursday, December 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right or left lane closure will be in place on southbound U.S. 1 approaching the I-295 overpass for a traffic shift.
Tuesday, December 17, through Thursday, December 19, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place on southbound U.S. 1 approaching the I-295 overpass for barrier installation.

Pipe Replacement Scheduled on Route 332 (Richboro Road) in Newtown, Northampton Townships

PennDOT announced that pipe replacement is scheduled on Route 332 (Richboro Road) in Newtown and Northampton townships under a project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Richboro Road) between W. Hanover Street and Rock Way.
Tuesday, January 2, 2025, through Friday, January 17, 2025, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Richboro Road) between W. Hanover Street and Rock Way.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
