Milling, Paving Planned at Night Next Week on U.S. 1 at Interstate 295 in Bucks County

PennDOT announced that milling and paving operations are scheduled on U.S. 1 below I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County, under a $37.4 million project to perform high-priority repairs on interstate bridges, to maintain the functionality, safety, and mobility of the structures along critical corridors.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures will be in place on U.S. 1 in both directions approaching the I-295 Interchange.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Resurfacing Operations Planned Next Week on State Highways in Bucks County

PennDOT announced that that resurfacing operations are planned next week on state highways in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Bath Road/Bristol Oxford Valley Road between U.S. 13 and Business U.S. 1 Lincoln Highway in Bristol and Middletown townships for paving.
Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Comly Avenue/Highland Avenue between Route 413 (Bellevue Avenue) and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) in Langhorne Manor Borough and Middletown Township for milling, paving, and utility adjustments.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
