Stormwater Improvements Planned Next Week on State Highways in Warminster Township

PennDOT announced that stormwater improvements are planned next week on several state highways under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists in the 6th Senate district are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 40 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region

PennDOT also announced that PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be repairing deteriorated pavement on more than 40 state highways next week across the Philadelphia region.

The work locations in the 6th Senate district are:

Bucks County

  • Bristol Road, Warrington, Warminster townships.
  • Mearns Road, Warwick, Warminster townships.
  • Street Road, Warrington Township.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.

Since January 1, 2024, PennDOT has used more than 799 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
