PA Turnpike Bridge Construction to Close Newportville Road in Bristol, Bensalem Townships

PennDOT announced that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is planning bridge construction on Newportville Road in Bristol and Bensalem townships, beginning Monday, February 12.

Motorists are advised that from Monday, February 12, through Friday, February 16, a weekday 24-hour closure is scheduled on Newportville Road between Zimmerman Lane and New Falls Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Zimmerman Lane and New Falls Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Stormwater Improvements Planned on Route 332 (Richboro Road)

PennDOT announced that stormwater improvements are planned next week on Route 332 (Richboro Road) between West Hanover Street and Rock Way in Newtown and Northampton townships. A lane closure is scheduled from Monday, February 12, through Friday, February 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
