Save The Date for My Shredding Event

To help residents guard themselves against identity theft, I will be hosting a free community paper shredding event Saturday, May 20 from 9 am-1 pm at The Runway at Warminster Community Park, located at 350 East Bristol Road in Warminster.

Residents of the 6th Senate District are encouraged to bring documents that contain sensitive information to be thoroughly shredded. Due to high demand, individuals are limited to two file boxes of paper to be shredded, no plastic bags please. This event is for residents only; no businesses, please.

My staff will be on hand to address any state-related issues/questions. Free information on state programs and services will also be available.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Tomorrow

National Prescription Take Back Day

Please save the date of April 22nd for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

This bi-annual event provides an opportunity for you to responsibly dispose of unused, unneeded or expired medications at specific locations throughout the County.  Help keep our community safe and bring prescription and over-the-counter medications, vaping products, vitamins, pet meds and sharps for safe disposal!  For a list of locations or questions visit www.bcdac.org.

Bucks County Area Agency on Aging offers a Homebound Medication Disposal Program (HOME) for eligible Bucks County residents who cannot access a public drop site because of physical, medical, or transportation limitations.  For more info contact Bucks County Area Agency on Aging at 267-880-5700

Help Our Struggling Military Members

Anyone who is owed a Pennsylvania personal income tax return has a convenient opportunity to support our military members, veterans and their families who are facing tough times.

You can help those who serve our nation and commonwealth by making a gift to the Military Family Relief Assistance Program. All donations will benefit those with a direct and immediate financial need as a result of circumstances beyond their control.

On lines 32 through 36 of the Personal Income Tax Return, fill out Code C. If you do not have an overpayment on your return, you may make a donation by sending a check directly to the Military Family Relief Assistance Program, c/o Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Building 0-47, Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA 17003-5002.

$25,000 Fishing and Boating Grants Available

PFBC will reimburse qualifying organizations up to $25,000 for eligible expenses from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The grants require a minimum 25% match of total project costs. Grant applications must be submitted here by April 14.
