Resurfacing Planned on State Highways in Bucks County
PennDOT announced that resurfacing is planned on state highways in Bucks County under multiple ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Sunday, September 29, through Saturday, October 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, moving lane closures are scheduled on S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between the Frankford Avenue bridge over the Poquessing Creek and 500 feet west of Route 413 (Veterans Highway) in Bensalem and Bristol townships for micro-surfacing operations.
- Sunday, September 29, through Saturday, October 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, moving lane closures are scheduled on Knights Road between Route 132 (Street Road) and the Philadelphia County line in Bensalem Township for micro-surfacing operations.
Roadway Repair Planned at Night Next Week on I-295 in Middletown Township
PennDOT announced that concrete roadway repair will occur at night next week on Interstate 295 in Middletown Township.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, September 30, through Wednesday, October 2, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.
- Wednesday, October 2, through Friday, October 4, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Stormwater Improvements Planned Next Week on State Highways in Bucks County
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, September 30, through Friday, October 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on County Line Road between Princeton Road and Route 232 (Second Street Pike/Huntingdon Pike) in Upper Southampton and Lower Moreland townships in Bucks and Montgomery counties for stormwater replacement.
- Monday, September 30, through late October, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Newtown Richboro Road) between West Hanover Street and Rock Way/Spring Garden Mill Drive in Newtown and Northampton townships, Bucks County, for stormwater replacement.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Bucks County
PA Turnpike Bridge Construction to Close Newportville Road in Bristol, Bensalem Townships
PennDOT announced that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is planning bridge construction on Newportville Road in Bristol and Bensalem townships, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
