Roadway Reconstruction Continues on Langhorne-Yardley Road, Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township

PennDOT announced that roadway construction will continue next week on Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road under a $10.8 million project to improve traffic congestion and safety on Langhorne-Yardley Road at the Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road intersections in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Wednesday, October 1, through Thursday, October 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on Langhorne Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road.
Wednesday, October 1, through Thursday, October 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and Core Creek Park.

Trail Construction Continues on Ellis Road in Middletown Township

PennDOT announced that trail construction continues on Ellis Road in Middletown Township under a local safety improvement project.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Wednesday, October 1, through Friday, October 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road for stone installation and structure placement.

PennDOT announced that road construction continues on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Northampton Township, under a local safety improvement project.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Wednesday, October 1, through Friday, October 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) between Tanyard Road and Upper Holland Road for line striping and signage.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
