Construction Continues through February on Langhorne-Yardley Road, Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township
PennDOT announced that various construction activities are scheduled in February on Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road under a $10.9 million project to improve traffic congestion and safety on Langhorne-Yardley Road at the Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road intersections in Middletown Township.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, February 2, through Friday, February 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Langhorne-Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road.
- Monday, February 2, through Friday, February 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and the entrance to Core Creek Park.
- Monday, February 2, through Friday, February 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when travelling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Utility Improvement Close Brownsville Road Middletown Township
PennDOT announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on a section of Brownsville Road in Middletown Township beginning Thursday, February 5.
Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
Amtrak Bridge Repair to Close Haunted Lane in Bensalem Township
PennDOT announced that Amtrak will be performing overhead bridge repair on Haunted Lane in Bensalem Township beginning on Tuesday, February 17.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
