Langhorne-Yardley Road, Woodbourne Rd to Close this Weekend

Paving to Close Langhorne-Yardley Road, Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township this Weekend

PennDOT announced that paving will close and detour the Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road intersection in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9, the Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road intersection will be closed and detoured 24/7.

During the closure, drivers using Langhorne-Yardley Road will be directed to use Bridgetown Pike, Route 413 (Langhorne Newtown Road), Route 332 (Newtown Bypass), Stony Hill Road, and Township Line Road. Drivers using Woodbourne Road will be directed to use Big Oak Road, Township Line Road, and Route 332 (Newtown Bypass).

PennDOT also announced that the construction continues next week after the road closure. Various construction activities will occur next week on Langhorne-Yardley Road in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Monday, November 10, through Monday, December 1, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Langhorne-Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road.
Monday, November 10, through Monday, December 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will occur weekdays on Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and the entrance to Core Creek Park.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when travelling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
