In this Update:
Happy Holidays! I offer you my warm wishes for a very Merry Christmas filled with joy and laughter. May you and your family enjoy a holiday season that is marked by joy and love. My district office hours may be limited due to the holidays. Please call ahead, 215-638-1784, to be sure my office is open. Thanking Veterans During the Holiday SeasonLast week, I was honored to join former State Senator and current Adjutant General of Pennsylvania, Major General John Pippy, along with Sen. Collett and Rep. Hogan, at the Delaware Valley Veterans’ Home to thank the residents for their service and the staff for their dedication during their annual Holiday celebration. The holiday season is a great time to thank and appreciate those that make selfless sacrifices to serve our country and I will continue to be an advocate for our veterans and their families. Student Leads Effort to Support Those in Need‘Tis the season for giving — and Holy Ghost Prep senior Matthew Pienkowski truly embodied that spirit. For a school project, Matthew organized 100 SHINE bags for the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter to support those in need. At the start of his project, he reached out for support which I was happy to provide, and I was proud to join him, Rep. Tomlinson and Commissioner DiGirolamo on Monday to help deliver and distribute the bags. Congratulations to Lieutenant Rick HazelettI was honored to attend the ceremony for Rick Hazelett’s promotion to Lieutenant of the Buckingham Police Department last week. Rick’s dedication to public service — including his many years as a local volunteer firefighter, speaks volumes about his commitment to our community. Also, congratulations to the three new Buckingham PD police officers sworn in last week. Thank you all for choosing to serve and protect.
