Bridge Repair to Close Ramp to I-295, Restrict Lanes Weeknights in Middletown, Lower Makefield Townships

PennDOT announced that weeknight bridge repair will close the ramp from Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) to eastbound Interstate 295 and restrict lanes on I-295 in Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County, beginning on Monday, September 21.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Travelers can check conditions on major roads by visiting 511PA. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts

Resurfacing Operations Planned Next Week on State Highway in Middletown Township

PennDOT announced that resurfacing operations are planned next week on a state highway in Middletown Township under an ongoing contract to repair, resurface, and improve more than 240 miles of state highways across the five-county region.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Bucks County

  • Monday, September 21, through Friday, September 25, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure with flagging will be in place on Woodbourne Road between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Big Oak Road in Middletown Township for milling, base repair, and utility adjustments.
