Resurfacing Operations Planned Next Week on State Highways in Middletown Township

 PennDOT announced that resurfacing operations are planned next week on state highways in Middletown Township.

 Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:

 Middletown Township, Bucks County

• Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Woodbourne Road between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Big Oak Road in Middletown Township for milling.

• Tuesday, September 15, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on eastbound Interstate 295 over U.S. 1 in Middletown Township for pothole repair.

Upper Southampton to Close Bristol Road in Lower Southampton

PennDOT announced that Upper Southampton Municipal Authority will perform utility construction on Bristol Road in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County, beginning on Monday, September 14.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Bristol Road will be closed and detoured between Route 532 (Buck Road) and Bustleton Pike. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 532 (Buck Road), Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike), and Bustleton Pike.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or through the detour route because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
