Amtrak Bridge Repair to Close Haunted Lane in Bensalem Township

PennDOT announced that Amtrak will perform overhead bridge repair on Haunted Lane in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, beginning on Tuesday, September 8.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Tuesday, September 8, through Thursday, October 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Haunted Lane will be closed and detoured Mondays through Thursdays between Marshall Lane and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike). During the closure, drivers will be directed to use State Road, Route 132 (Street Road), and U.S 13 (Bristol Pike).

Upper Southampton Municipal Authority to Close Bristol Road for Utility Construction in Lower Southampton Township

PennDOT announced that Upper Southampton Municipal Authority will perform utility construction on Bristol Road in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County, beginning on Monday, September 14.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Bristol Road will be closed and detoured between Buck Road and Bustleton Pike. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Buck Road, Bridgetown Pike, and Bustleton Pike.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or through the detour route because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
